Books on Allotments and Gardening
In the current climate and with food prices continually on the increase, it makes sense to grow your vegetables and fruit if you have any available land, whether this is an allotment or just your own back garden - or even a balcony, a few pots or just a windowsill!
The Library has a small collection of books on Allotments and gardening - how to garden, techniques, tips, pruning, propagation, how to deal with pests & diseases, organic gardening, greenhouses....etc.
We also subscribe to the magazine Kitchen Garden.
