Careers

We want all our students to develop the range of skills needed for success in their chosen careers.

As well as the career support you get as part of your studies, careers centres offer services to help with your career development even further.

Careers information
Our careers libraries and website offer a wealth of publications and resources to help you research your career.  Our career counsellors can also help you to develop your career plans and help with applications to employers.

Careers events
Employer presentations are held throughout the year, offering an informal way for students to meet employers.

Job Workshop
Job workshop is a service that advertises a range of jobs with local, national and international companies - these include part-time and full-time jobs, placements and graduate positions.

Volunteering
Active student offers voluntary work so you can contribute to the local community and your own career development.

See the University of Brighton Careers website - http://www.brighton.ac.uk/careers/ for more information.

The UCH Careers Library is held within the LRC and contains many resources to assist and guide you.

The careers counsellor is available on Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings.
