Open days are held throughout the year.
Visit us to discover for yourself what makes the University Centre Hastings such a special place to study. Meet staff and students, explore the facilities and get a real taste of student life.

Who will find our open days helpful?
If you are a school/college leaver or adult learner thinking of studying a course with us, visiting one of our open days can be a valuable experience. Please feel free to bring someone with you.
What happens at an open day?
You can attend a presentation about the centre and in some cases, participate in taster courses, as well as look around the facilities. Open days provide an excellent opportunity to ask questions about university life, with staff on hand to discuss the courses, financing your studies, careers, special needs support, accommodation, sport and social activities.
Campus tours
Take a tour of the building with one of our students , its a great way to experience university life and what we may offer should you choose to study here.
Student ambassadors
Our current students, wearingbright blue t-shirts, will be available throughout the day for an informal chat and to answer questions about studying and living here.
Food and drink
Refreshments, sandwiches, snacks, and hot meals will be available throughout the course of the open day.
Presentations
Students can attend subject talks, usually given by the course leader. This will include a brief summary of the subject area and an introduction to what they might expect on the course.
